Cleaning and Prevention

Whether it's been six months, three years, or you've never been to the dentist, we are happy to make sure all of your dental needs are met. We recommend professional cleanings and a doctor exam every six months. Our hygienist will remove plaque and buildup that brushing and flossing alone cannot. 

Our practice prides itself on education and prevention. We work with our patients to help them understand how they can improve their home care with simple changes in their daily routines. By keeping up with home care and regular office visits, you ensure healthier gums and a cleaner, whiter smile.


Recommendations for home care:

  • Brush twice a day with a soft-bristled brush

  • Floss daily, best before bedtime

  • Use mouthwash after flossing

  • Avoid sweets, coffee, and tobacco
